July is here in full force, schools are starting shortly, people are coming back from vacation, and the world turns. The teashop is still here trundling on through the long hard summer. I get a call periodically from people asking if it is still open. I shall not close if I can possibly avoid it..Its running by the hair on my teeth but we are still in business, so I need you all to do as much pr. for us as you can. One misconception is that as a tearoom we are expensive.. a sandwich anywhere is $8.50 a cup of soup is 3.50 wherelse can you get an assorment of sandwiches AND Scone or Cake plus unlimited tea for $10.99? well, these are our prices and I think we do a pretty fine job...freshest organic vegetables, fruit and Tea, served in a quiet setting, on British china plates... the best deal in town, I think... so come on down to our little corner of England...and keep us afloat....we want to stay...

News. The Princess Diana Dress collection that was on display in Naples is now over. We are selling the book of the collection usually on sale for $50.00 is now on sale for $25,00. Considering that Naples was the last exhibit (for a while at least). Susanne King the founder was here last week in the teashop and was exhausted at the thought of having to disemple the exhibit and take it back to Austin So My daughter Stephanie volunteered to help and she had a week in Naples 1working . The books are gorgeous, the dresses set in Kensington and Buckingham palace backdrop. Proceeds of this book go to the PINK RIBBONS CRUSADE

A lovely lady named Esther and her husband came in the other day an donated china that she wasn't using.. it was beautiful, you will see it as your place setting maybe , thank you so very much Esther.

I never thanked the lovely lady from Dunedin who donated hats to the tearoom, if you know how many smiles they created you would be pleased, I can't thank you enough. And a special thank you to all of my wonderful friends, there are many, for suporting me, through thick and thin, you all know who you are . I couldn't have done it without you. I know I will miss out some names but a special mention goes to Maggie, Dianne, Ana, Claire, LE, Sunny, Mary Lynn. Eunice, Margueritte, Judy and Seleen and of course not forgetting my wonderful daughter Steff, who has been such a support through these tough few years... I love you all....
