The Search for the Ultimate “Cuppa”

| When we opened the tearoom “A Corner of England” we tried many sources of tea in America and they just did not seem to cut the mustard. Our search went on for some time until we came upon two privately owned tea gardens in Assam through a relative living in India. Our search for the ultimate tea stopped there. |
The Tea Gardens

| The gardens are certified organic and provide a collection of whole and broken leaf, black, green and white tea that are beyond par. Their excellence is evident from the fresh aroma, taste color and clarity. Situated in upper and lower Assam, the tea gardens have been in business for over 100 years, they know their tea. The business of tea growing is a long process and the final result is incomparable to any tea you have had before. |
Black Tea (Pekoe)

| Assam has always been known for its exceptional Pekoe tea, in fact since 1736. Black, strong and earthy with a mellow taste and a no nonsense attitude. The best English and Irish breakfast tea is made from this genus of tea. Wonderful as iced tea, but with a little milk and a spoonful of sugar a total delight (in an English china cup of course) |
White Tea ( Himalaya Mist)

| Our White tea (white tips) is unique to the Himalayan’s. Picked only one a year it is lovingly nurtured to provide all the ANTI-OXIDENTS possible. White tea has up to four times the antioxidants of green tea. We stock an assortment of flavored white tea also. |
